Pelicopy is a platform for creating, translating, and publishing multilingual product documentation. The app is organised around a small set of building blocks — templates define document layout, static fields hold reusable text, documents combine both with product-specific data, and translations render everything into every language you need. The pages below walk through each piece of that model. Read them in order for a guided tour, or jump straight to the topic you need.
Dashboard
Your role-aware landing page — quick stats, team directory, and a jump-off into the work most relevant to you.
Data model
How Pelicopy structures documents — the three field types, template-vs-document, and the versioning model behind the whole app.
Static Fields
Reusable blocks of text that live in a central library — write once, translate once, drop into any template.
Templates
Design the layout your documents inherit — page setup, the editor toolbar, tables, and publishing revisions.
Documents
Create and manage document instances — the draft-to-publish lifecycle, the editor, and multilingual PDF generation.
Translate
Translate document data into every supported language — the queue, the editor, stale detection, and field-level approval.
Settings
Admin-only configuration for the whole workspace — default master language, fonts, enabled languages, users and roles, and CSV exports.
