A Declaration of Performance has to be available in the official language of every EU member state where a product is sold. Managed in Word documents and spreadsheets, that requirement turns into a fragmented loop: coordinating translations is slow, and every product update forces a repeat of the full cycle.
We built Pelicopy to collapse that work into a structured data pipeline. To show what the flow looks like in practice, we created a short animated walkthrough focused entirely on the DoP lifecycle — now live on the homepage.
What the video covers
The 100-second animation moves through four steps.
- Design the template. Define document structure and layout once.
- Generate documents. Create DoPs against the approved design.
- Translate. Push content across the required EU languages with the built-in DeepL-powered engine, with review, approval, and field-level progress tracking.
- Publish. Produce a single multilingual PDF in a few clicks, ready for distribution across any channel.
The closing segment covers updates. Edit the source, review only the translations flagged as affected, regenerate the PDF. The full cycle doesn’t need to run again.
